COVID-19 . . A Season of Rediscovery

Is there anything quite like it? The gathering of like-minded lovers of Jesus, who raise their voices to create a roar of praise. Is there anything quite like the sense of camaraderie and of feeling part of something bigger than oneself that comes when we gather?

They say that "absence makes the heart grow fonder". Maybe, during this season of imposed separation, the church will rediscover her appreciation and appetite for the corporate gathering. Maybe during this season, apathy and indifference will be replaced with hunger and gratitude.

"How lovely is your dwelling place, Lord Almighty!

My soul yearns, even faints, for the courts of the Lord; my heart and my flesh cry out for the living God.

Even the sparrow has found a home, and the swallow a nest for herself, where she may have her young - a place near your altar, Lord Almighty, my King and my God.

Blessed are those who dwell in Your house; they are every praising You." Psalm 84

Big love, Ps Rich
