The Gospel of John records many bold declarations made by Jesus. Declarations like:
I am the bread of life - Jn 6:35
I am the light of the world - Jn 8:12
I am the gate - Jn 10:7
I am the good shepherd - Jn 10:14
I am the resurrection and the life - Jn 11:25
I am the way, the truth and the life - Jn 14:6
I am the true vine - Jn 15:1
Here's the thing... Jesus did not just carry a message, He IS the Message. It was true then and it is true now.
Perhaps the most powerful declaration that Jesus made is found in Jn 14:6 "no one comes to the Father, except through me".
As we countdown to Easter, why not work your way from Jn 3 to Jn 21. As you do, you will discover who He IS, what He has DONE and what that MEANS for you!
"For this is how much God loved the world - he gave his one and only, unique Son as a gift. So now everyone who believes in him will never perish but experience everlasting life. God did not send his Son into the world to judge and condemn the world, but to be its Saviour and rescue it!" Jn 3:16-17 (TPT)
